I found a really cool collection of pictures of the
Large Hadron Collider at the
Boston Globe's website. These pics are really amazing. They're cooler than any sci-fi movie prop I've ever seen. The one below is a photo of the "ATLAS Hadronic endcap Liquid Argon Calorimeter." Damn... Even the names are cool.
